6/15/20 – Weekly Post: “Juneteenth”

Enjoy This Week’s Post: It has been an amazing few weeks.  I am hopeful we may be in the midst of another chapter of the Civil Rights Movement and I hope you understand the opportunity that is in front of you.  Now is the time to add your voice to the calls for a just and equitable society that affords each person the basic human rights that we are all entitled to.  Here is an article suggesting Juneteenth be designated a national holiday. But we do not have to wait for it to be a holiday.  It can be a day of remembrance that includes vigils, protests, boycotts, or sickouts.  It is a great opportunity to show solidarity between all people in the US and Globally for a world free of the structural violence that so many are subjected to.
