To intervene in the cycle of violence we have to start teaching “peace” early and at least offering the practice of peace as an alternative, hopefully the preferred way of living our lives. Part of this is also teaching human rights and assertiveness to deal with some of the highly aggressive people we encounter. Peace is not a dream, it’s a human right.
